PREPING FOR WOOD CHIPPING
Once your service is booked, please have your wood ready before arrival
PREPPING WOOD
-
Lay branches in long rows (not piles)
-
Place all butt ends facing the same direction
-
Keep rows about 3–4 branches wide for smooth feeding
-
Do not stack or tangle material—piles slow down the process
SIZE & ACCESS
-
Maximum branch diameter: 10”
-
Make sure the crew has clear access for equipment and workflow
WOOD CHIP LOCATION
-
Decide where you’d like the chip pile placed
-
Consider wind direction: chipper should be positioned upwind of the chip drop zone
-
Our operator feeds the machine, and extra helping hands are always appreciated.
