This emerging farm is dedicated to restoring and preserving the existing endemic and culturally important plants on the land, while introducing new crops specifically chosen to support Hana’s rich lei-making traditions. Resting in the lush hills above the Hana Airport, Alohilani will cultivate a diverse range of plants used in traditional lei crafting—ensuring that these vital cultural materials are grown sustainably and with care. As a new operation, Alohilani Farm is committed to fostering community connections, honoring the traditions of the past, and growing a future where the beauty of lei-making is preserved one leaf at a time.
