About the event

This monthly gathering is a space for storytelling, advocacy, and skill-building designed to strengthen women individual and collective voice across Maui County. This is made possible through a grant from the Women’s Fund of Hawaii.


This session’s keynote speaker is Mariah Strong, Director of Programs and co-founder of Pacific Birth Collective, a women- and family-centered nonprofit serving communities in Hawai‘i. Born and raised in Ha‘ikū, Mariah is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), serves on the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) Board of Directors, and is also an entrepreneur who has started and run businesses in her community. She brings both professional expertise and lived experience as a mother of two daughters born at home.


Her work centers on leadership, reproductive health, and advocacy, grounded in the rites of passage surrounding pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. She will also share insights from Pacific Birth Collective’s Farm to Mother program, which…
